But it's much too soon to have any kind of hindsight on films released and awards presented so recently. I'll update this entry when I feel that enough time has passed. There are many things to be dealt with: the snub to Ben Affleck in the directing category, the surprising re-emergence of the Spielberg Curse, and the omission from the nominees of such potential contenders as Brave, Cloud Atlas, The Dark Knight Rises, The Master, Moonrise Kingdom, and The Sessions.
